I'm continuing the tradition of adding a song while reading. This time we have Sir. John Lennon.
Time for quick answers.
1. We ran a Whatsapp questioner asking 20 people if they would have preferred a few cactus or only one. the results were mixed.
11 were for one cactus and 9 for many. We took our time table and the technical aspects into consideration (easier to demonstrate and make one cactus) and decided to make only one cactus. We also consulted psychologist who preferred the one cactus option.
2. We designed the app interface accordingly, also trying to make the first time sign up into something fun. We wanted to make the cactus move alot in the process but were limited technically to Do so. Some wired questions arose. Such as where should we put the barcod, On bottom part of the cactus (so it will never get lost but the cactus have to be firm for that) I guess it's kind of difficult to understand our dilemmas without seeing so here is our final UX for the app (see text beneath)
3. We wanted a swipe system but understood our pop up system doesn't allow swipe.
4. Oh! we also thought that of an option where the app doesn't need to study the amount of calls between family members. It can just take the information from the phone log.
